About us
Blühenについて
In the Gender Gap Index rankings published by the World Economic Forum, Japan ranked 118th out of 156 countries (2024). In Japan, especially in the economic sector, many women face lost opportunities and restrictions simply because they were born female. Blühen works to provide these women with the opportunities they should have originally received and is committed to eliminating the gender gap in society.
Many women face challenges such as finding it difficult to build a consistent career after becoming the wife of a relocating spouse, or being unable to work full-time after childbirth due to caring for sickly children, which hinders their ability to take on jobs that enhance their skills and experience as before. However, even with restrictions on work location and hours, a change in systems can allow individuals to fully utilize their abilities and receive appropriate evaluations and compensation.
Blühen aims to create a society where there is no trade-off between "family" and "career," and where everyone can demonstrate their true potential and be fairly evaluated, even amidst changes in life stages, by reshaping the flow of work, information, and money as a part of society's mechanism.

CEOYuko Tanaka
Born in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture. While studying at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, she experienced long-term studies abroad at the University of California, San Diego, and Philipps-Universität Marburg in Germany. After graduation, she joined a domestic pharmaceutical company in a sales position. Upon marrying her then-husband, who was also in a transferable sales position, she resigned. After her resignation, she searched for work environments suitable for "relocating wives" but found it difficult to secure regular employment due to the near certainty of moving within a few years. She worked in several dispatch positions before starting freelance work in translation and interpretation. Subsequently, she received an offer from a Tokyo IT company to work as an exclusive interpreter and secretary to an executive. She later took on roles including executive secretary, corporate planning, and overseas business development, eventually becoming CEO. In 2023, she returned to her hometown in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, deciding to establish a business to empower women facing restrictions on job opportunities due to life stage changes. In 2024, she founded Blühen Inc., providing business support to companies nationwide and continuing to challenge societal gender gaps.
