Blühenについて
According to the Gender Gap Index published by the World Economic Forum, Japan ranked 118th out of 156 countries in 2024. In Japan, particularly in the economic sphere, women still encounter significant limitations and lost opportunities simply because of their gender. At Blühen, we are dedicated to bridging the gender gap across society by restoring opportunities that women have always deserved.
Many women, for example, find it difficult to maintain a continuous career after marriage due to frequent relocations, or to work full-time after childbirth while caring for a child with health challenges—circumstances that often prevent them from pursuing roles where they can further develop their skills and experience. Many women face similar struggles. However, by redesigning the way work is structured, we believe that these barriers can be overcome—enabling women to fully unlock their potential and be fairly recognized and rewarded.
At Blühen, we strive to reshape the flow of work, information, and capital as a driving force within society. Our goal is to create a world where there is no trade-off between family and career, and where life stage transitions do not limit one’s ability to fully realize their potential and receive the recognition they deserve.

CEOYuko Tanaka
Born in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture. While studying at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, she experienced long-term studies abroad at the University of California, San Diego, and Philipps-Universität Marburg in Germany. After graduation, she joined a domestic pharmaceutical company in a sales position. Upon marrying her then-husband, who was also in a transferable sales position, she resigned. After her resignation, she searched for work environments suitable for "relocating wives" but found it difficult to secure regular employment due to the near certainty of moving within a few years. She worked in several dispatch positions before starting freelance work in translation and interpretation. Subsequently, she received an offer from a Tokyo IT company to work as an exclusive interpreter and secretary to an executive. She later took on roles including executive secretary, corporate planning, and overseas business development, eventually becoming CEO. In 2023, she returned to her hometown in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, deciding to establish a business to empower women facing restrictions on job opportunities due to life stage changes. In 2024, she founded Blühen Inc., providing business support to companies nationwide and continuing to challenge societal gender gaps.
